What's New In Allergy Travel Pillow Covers? Plenty!
|
Pillows are a support for your neck and hence it is necessary to use them. The most commonly used travel pillows are inflatable ones or the foam pillows both of which are great breeding grounds for dust mites. Using ant-allergic pillow covers becomes necessary in this case in order to protect your pillow from these substances. The contour of a pillow is also a place where these parasites grow in number. Pillows come in contact with the dirt and dust from the air, which invites mites to colonize on them. To protect children’s pillows, travel pillow covers can be used as overlays so that the pillows remain safe underneath. Using anti-allergic pillow covers is recommended for those who are susceptible to dust or mite allergies. Dust mites and other particles are not always removed by washing or vacuuming and so these protective covers are the way to prevent development of any allergy or allergic reactions. Travel accessories like pillows are even more vulnerable to mite attacks as they come in contact with the air outside. Constant exposure to such allergens can be dangerous for children especially infants. It is a well known fact that most allergies in kids develop during childhood because lower immunity levels. Theses allergens have also been held responsible for eczema and perennial hayfever in infants. This is why it becomes necessary for the parents to take the needed steps in this direction to prevent occurrence of such complications. But, using allergy travel pillow cases is often considered not enough. Cleanliness and hygiene in the sleeping area are also essential. Regular sanitization of the bedroom is also a requirement to prevent re-occurrence of such parasites. |
